The NYSCA is an organization committed to promoting safe and positive sports experiences through the training and certification of volunteer youth sports coaches and officials. Many of the coaches in the A.I.S.A. are NYSCA certified, and are encouraged to become certified and stay active in NYSCA. A.I.S.A works closely with the Town of Irondequoit Parks and Recreation Department to arrange and coordinate certification for our coaches. As additional encouragement to our coaches to become certified, A.I.S.A also pays the certification fee. NYSCA has developed a separate code of ethics for coaches, parents and players. A.I.S.A fully endorses these codes. A copy of the coaches' code, signed by your son or daughters coach is included. All parents are also being requested to sign the parent's version of the code.
